About Textbook411

Textbook411 is a free price comparison search engine for buying and selling all types of new and used books. That's right: not just textbooks. We perform real time searches of more than 20 bookstores and online marketplaces to find the best price for buying your book. And when its time to sell back your books, we connect you with a number of direct buyers who are willing to pay cash for your texts. Instead of you having to visit each store individually, we scout them out for you. We do the legwork and you get the savings. Why do we do it? Let's just say that we know the feeling of paying too much for books, especially textbooks! "411" is synonymous with information and we believe that an informed consumer will save cash. Go ahead and try a search, maybe on a book that you already own... See what you could have saved if you had the 411!

Tell a friend, pass on the savings.

About the Founder Brian

Brian
I am Brian, a 24 year old Penn State graduate living now in the Pacific Northwest. It rains just about every day out here and I am anxious to get back to the east coast for law school in the fall. I have spent the last couple of years living and traveling abroad. I have been to some pretty nutty places and probably have some pretty nutty diseases too. I enjoy horseshoes, fishing, reading, college football, and mashed potatoes. No joke, I love em! My current apartment is located in what can best be described as a crack den/ halfway house. I have about fifteen different types of deadbolt locks and sleep with a big metal bar next to my bed. (Originally I had a butcher's knife but the idea of stabbing an intruder kinda jeebed me out, so I upgraded to the metal pole) Thus far I am happy with the decision. I think I am the only person in my building that actually speaks English, but that doesn't keep me from having a good time with my neighbors!!! (will post pictures of the WILD Christmas social) Anyways, that's about all I can think of right now about me. Oh, someday I hope to: 1) Be able to sleep in till noon 2) own my own island

About the Founder Jason

Jason

Jason is an 11 month old bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncates) which I rescued from North Korean poacher/pirates who were planning on gifting him to KIM JONG-IL ... I soon found that Jason had an amazing gift for finding things when I lost my boogie board in the surf at the jersey shore and he tracked half way to the gulf of Mexico. And it turned out he was even better at finding low prices on books!! Jason now lives in the Pacific ocean off the coast of Southern California. He enjoys back-flips, daytime television, and sardines. Jason is the heart and soul of Textbook411 and without his forced .... I mean "free" labor the service could never exist. Jason hopes to someday be released into the open ocean and join a school of wild, free ranging dolphins.
